Reluctant rare-books owner Jeffrey Brief is faced with the imminent loss of his crucial health insurance. Brief unwittingly unravels a dark conspiracy, branding citizens of a lower consumer asset value as ‘host subjects’, including himself and his daughter. What they are hosting within themselves is a mystery, but it will cost them their lives. Brief’s desperation to survive will force him to join a militant rebel group + embark on an adventure of soul-shredding moral choices, escape, love, betrayal + loss, unwittingly unraveling an unbearable crime whilst ever forced to fight against the single thing that can save him + his daughter, the tenant inside him.

‘The 3rd Letter’ has to date won ‘Best Director’ for over 1200 short films submitted to HollyShorts Film Festival in L.A. + won ‘Best in Show’, ‘Best Drama’ from Nevada City Film Festival, ‘Best in Show’ at Lewiston-Auburn Film Festival + ‘Best Short in Show’, ‘Best Director’ & ‘Best VFX’ at the Los Angeles (New Wave) international Film Festival. The film continues to screen + gain selections across the globe weekly.
